Transit riders and others who appreciate the value of being able to leave their cars at home are invited to rally at the State Capitol on June 17 at 10 a.m. to protest Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's proposed theft of transit funds. This $18 million raid on Sacramento Regional Transit's revenue could force RT to reduce service another 10 percent.
